About The Academy

For over 20 years, the British Academy of Crystal Healing has been providing crystal healing education to students in the UK and around the world. We offer a range of courses for all levels of experience, from beginner-friendly learning for personal development to professionally accredited training for those wishing to practise as crystal healers.

Our teaching combines traditional crystal healing principles with practical learning, creating a supportive environment where students can develop their knowledge, confidence, and skills. Alongside our courses, we also offer workshops, retreats, events, and an ongoing learning community, giving students the opportunity to continue learning long after their training has finished.

The Academy is led by founder Jackie Winters, whose experience and dedication have helped shape its reputation as a trusted provider of crystal healing education.

Jackie’s Story

A Journey That Changed Everything

My journey into crystal healing began many years ago during a difficult period in my life. I was living with chronic asthma and taking high doses of steroid medication, yet despite the treatments available to me at the time, I still wasn't feeling well. I found myself searching for something that could help me understand my health and my life from a different perspective.

One day, I met a lady in the street who suggested I work with crystals. At first, I was sceptical. I couldn't imagine how crystals could make a difference, but something encouraged me to keep an open mind and explore further.

A Lifelong Passion for Learning

As I began learning about crystals and working with them, my curiosity quickly grew. I wanted to understand more about their history, their energetic qualities, and why so many people had experienced positive changes through working with them. That curiosity led me to spend years studying, researching, and learning from scientists, therapists, healers, medical professionals, and fellow practitioners.

Over time, what began as a personal journey became a lifelong passion. I have had the privilege of teaching thousands of students, speaking at conferences and events, appearing as a guest on podcasts and radio programmes, and writing books and educational resources to help others discover the world of crystal healing.

Building the British Academy of Crystal Healing

In 2004, I founded the British Academy of Crystal Healing with the aim of providing professional, supportive, and accessible crystal healing education.

Today, the Academy welcomes students from around the world, offering courses for complete beginners as well as professionally accredited training for those wishing to practise as crystal healers.


Looking Ahead

Even after more than 40 years, I still believe there is always more to learn. Every student, every course, and every experience continues to deepen my understanding.

It is a privilege to share that knowledge with others and support them as they begin or continue their own crystal healing journey.

  • Lynn Avis

    Lynn Avis is an intuitive healer and spiritual teacher/ mentor and angelic artist, with over twenty years of experience supporting people to release the emotional, mental, and physical patterns that quietly influence their health, relationships, and sense of inner peace.

    Over the years, Lynn has guided her clients and students through periods of change, healing, and self-discovery.

    She has a natural sensitivity to subtle energy which allows her to act as a clear channel for higher consciousness and the angelic realm, translating divine wisdom into practical guidance. With her warm, down-to-earth personality and natural light-hearted sense of humour, rather than directing or “fixing,” she likes to create a supportive space where individuals feel safe to listen inwardly and reconnect with the quiet wisdom of their soul.

  • Lee-Anne Deacon

    Lee-Anne is a Crystal Healing Therapist & Sound Healer, devoted to holding sacred space for transformation. Facilitator of women’s moon circles & monthly sound meditations.

    Lee-Anne also offers deeply loving & nurturing crystal facials & massage to restore energetic flow. Working at a cellular level, crystal light energy supports balance across the mind, body, and emotional field, gently clearing stagnant energy and inviting harmony, relaxation, and renewal.   • Alison Pollard

    Alison has spent the last four decades supporting the wellbeing of both children and adults through therapeutic and holistic practices. Her work draws on a range of modalities including Yoga teaching, Angelic Reiki, Hypnotherapy/NLP and other complementary therapies, all of which support emotional, energetic and spiritual balance.

    Throughout her journey, Alison has developed a deep love and appreciation for the energy and language of crystals. Working with them has helped her to better understand and compassionately challenge her own patterns of thinking and to live with greater awareness. Over time, this connection has naturally woven itself into her work with others, where crystals offer gentle yet profound support for reflection, healing and personal growth.

    Alison trained as a Crystal Therapist through BACH, an experience that further deepened her relationship with the crystal kingdom and supported her ever-evolving spiritual path.

    She remains in constant awe of the wisdom held within Mother Earth’s crystals and feels deeply honoured to share their beauty, energy and teachings with others.
